ICYMI, Disturbed performed their haunting rendition of the Simon & Garfunkel classic The Sound of Silence last night on Conan with a 15-person orchestra alongside them.
Watch their great performance below. It marked their first TV appearance following a 4-year hiatus, which was broken with the #1 critically acclaimed album Immortalized.
The Sound of Silence,the third single from the album, has now been #1 at Rock Radio for four weeks running and is rapidly rising on the Billboard Hot 100.

  1. This is the best rendition of SOS since its release in 1964. A powerful and moving melody and lyrics performed by a first class band. Disturbed and David Draiman performed exceptionally with a tremendous feeling that captivates the audience. The song played at Conan just added to the creativity, mistiness and professionalism of Disturbed.

    Keep on climbing the charts worldwide - close to 100 million hits on youtube and 22.5 million on Conan.
