Immortalized is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed. The album was released on August 21, 2015 through Reprise Records, and is Disturbed's first studio album since Asylum, marking the longest gap between two studio albums in their career. It is also Disturbed's first album since 2002's Believe to receive a Parental Advisory sticker, although studio albums released in the interim have contained some profanity.
The album, which sold 98,000 copies in its first week, is Disturbed's fifth consecutive number-one debut on the United States Billboard 200 chart. They are the third band in history to achieve this feat, the others being Metallica and Dave Matthews Band.

Really enjoyed first half The first half of the album has some good stuff. After that, it gets a little repetitive but is still good. Just not quite the edge I thought it would have through the whole album.

Crazy good Ive been listening to disturbed for quite a while now and was somewhat disappointed with asylum but they knocked it out of the park with this one. Immortalized has that classic raging disturbed style, but at the same time the sound of silence is such a drastic change from the norm. However it still manages to fit in perfectly. Well done.

I pre-ordered the newest album "Immortalized," and of course I expected an amazing comeback by an obviously incredible band fronted by a gifted singer. But my god, the cover David Draiman does of "The Sound of Silence just blew my brain to pieces, song really hit me in the feels. Superb performance Draiman absolutely amazing

Heavy metal band Disturbed came together through the matching of a band with a singer. Longtime friends Dan Donegan (guitar), Mike Wengren (drums), and Fuzz (bass) played together in Chicago for some time before hooking up with singer David Draiman around 1997. Draiman had grown up in a religious family against which he rebelled, being expelled from five boarding schools in his adolescence.
